Ed Holahan was born and raised in New York City, spent 35 years inventing toys and games in The Twin Cities and Chicago and moved to the Driftless in 2006.

He and Mary Benson have been married for 44 years. They’re getting really good at it.

“The View From Here” presents a five minute essay every Friday morning. The show will celebrate thirteen years on the air in ’23.
If you live long enough you get to share what you know.

Ed lives in Viroqua in between church bells and a nursing home.
