Dick Cates, a lifelong farmer, conservationist, and now author of three books, talks the importance and value of a “Land Ethic” as first described by Aldo Leopold in his 1949 book, “A Sand County Almanac.” Dick also speaks about his farm’s history and the importance of building community surrounding small family farms.
