Capital Campaign a Stunning Success!!

Wow! We are stunned, humbled, and immensely grateful.Only a week after launching our capital campaign to raise $91,900 to build the station, WDRT 91.9 FM reached its capital fundraising goal!

That’s right. The people of Wisconsin’s Driftless region have spoken. We’ve heard that you value community radio. You’re missing something on the radio dial. You want a local, noncommercial station that represents a diversity of voices, plays a broad mix of musical styles, and welcomes community members to get involved with station operations and programming.

Thank you to our many supporters who stepped forward to demonstrate their support. Their generosity has propelled our station building efforts toward WDRT's first-ever live broadcast in 2010. Now volunteers are designing the studios that we’ll soon begin constructing at 311 S. Main Street in Viroqua. We’re purchasing broadcasting and transmission equipment. We’re putting together a programming schedule that reflects the community’s common vision.

The next stage is developing an operations fund to pay for programming, a music library, studio space, training, and the electricity needed to broadcast and transmit our signal. Be part of the historic movement to establish our voice of many voices, WDRT 91.9 FM.
